New Hope for Mental Health Support in Wayne County: Introducing the Mobile Crisis Response Team!

Dealing with a mental health or substance use crisis can be overwhelming and isolating. Luckily, Wayne County residents now have access to a new resource: the Intensive Crisis Stabilization Follow-Up and Support Team (Mobile Crisis Response Team)!

This community-based, mobile team responds directly to individuals in crisis, offering support and intervention wherever they are. Simply call the DWIHN number (800-241-4949) for a phone screening, and the team will be dispatched if needed.

What to expect:

  • On-site crisis intervention and stabilization by trained professionals.

  • Connection to appropriate resources after the initial crisis, ensuring long-term support.

  • Accessibility for all: Mobile Crisis services are available to everyone in Wayne County, regardless of insurance status.
